Description: It is characterized by its intense color and persistent aromas of candied red fruit embedded in dark chocolate. Feteasca Neagră by Crama Oprişor presents itself through an elegant first accent. The sensation continues with the long, enveloping, slightly aggressive taste of strong tannins, but aged well and perfectly rounded during the long period of aging in oak barrels. It is a powerful yet exuberant wine, yet generous in its well-structured and balanced energy. It was designed to please us both now and with aging potential for those who are patient, for over 10, 20 years. It's part of the message of authenticity that the stopper sends to the world.
Vinification: The strictly selected grapes were harvested in 6 kg crates and placed in 350 kg pallet crates at the head of the row. Digging/crushing was done at low speed. The waves adapt to this variety and this wine. Maceration of the blackberries (in contact with the skin) for a period of 25 days with reassembly and immersion of the lid at a temperature of 21-26 C. After pressing at a maximum of 1.4 bar, the malolactic fermentation phase follows at a temperature of 19- 20 C. The wine was aged for 24 months in 225L and 5000L French oak barrels for aging, micro-oxygenation and autolysis.
Recommended together with veal dishes or spicy dishes.
